Meet your judges: The features team

PILAR OSTALE is a journalist and designer at Heraldo De Aragón, Zaragoza, Spain. Her career at the journal began in 1990. She was graphics and design editor from 2002-05. Ostale took part in the core team that redesigned the newspaper in 2001, receiving several international awards. She is studying the history of visual journalism at the University of Zaragoza.
SARAH HABERSHON is an art director at The Guardian, London, and is responsible for the Travel, Family, Money and Work sections of the Saturday paper. She was part of the design team for the Berliner-tab launch of the paper in 2005, and for five years she was art director of the Guide, The Guardian’s weekly entertainment magazine. Previously she worked on consumer magazines.
MAURICIO GUTIERREZ has designed newspapers and magazines in Mexico, Spain and the United States. He is now deputy design director at the Detroit Free Press and a design consultant. In Detroit, he supervises features designers, has worked on the paper’s redesign and created new sections and special projects.
NATHALIE BAYLAUCQ is artistic director of Baylaucq & Co., a design studio she began in Paris, that specializes in newspaper and magazine design. She has been designing newspapers for the past 15 years. She studied at the Parsons School of Design in New York City and has won many awards for herself and her company.
STEPHANIE GRACE LIM was art director at the San Jose Mercury News (Calif.). She has recently taken a job to lead a team of graphic designers at eBay's PayPal division. Lim has won awards from almost every professional organization in her field, including a Pulitzer nomination. Her work has been featured in Life, People, Photographerâ Forum and Print magazine.
