Facilitator pep-talk

The Washington Post's Justin Ferrell, (right) a veteran SND competition facilitator and out-going editor of Update, talks students from Syracuse University and Ohio University through the importance of being a facilitator. He likens it to the carriers who deliver newspapers -- they're the most critical link in reaching readers; if they don't connect, everything done before that stage of the game is pointless. In this way, the facilitators are the front line that makes the competition run smoothly.
