Day 2 begins ... with MORE snow!

Shockingly, the SNDIWD awoke this morning to find it was still snowing in Syracuse. We know, we know, it's very hard to believe.

The judging groups have been at work since about 9 a.m., with three groups starting their day with medal discussions. We'll be providing updates as soon as the SNDIWD gets reports back from the field.

Your first winner of the day? The Commercial Appeal in Memphis wins an Award of Excellence in Special News Topics/Local for "Living Visions."
